    A rhetorical question helps our reader engage by making them stop reading and think about the question itself.(It’s also not supposed to be answered)

    A rhetorical question is a question that is not meant to be answered. The purpose of a rhetorical question is to make your reader stop and think.

    A rhetorical question gets the reader to stop and think about the question.
    This is why the reader gets engaged.
    I really enjoyed the sales pitch.
    Especially the horse manure face cream (:
