    BRONZE:

    (11.)13(12.)2(13.)18(14.)12(15.)0

    SILVER:

1.If the farmer has 12 cocoa beans and there are 4 friends the calculation to this would be:
    12÷4=3
So if you write this as a fraction it would be 3/1.

2.If a large piece of cornbread is cut into 8 equal slices and 3 slices are eaten how many equal slices are left the calculation to this is:
    8-3=5
So if you write this in a fraction it would be 5/8.

3.If the artist has painted 2/5 in blue 1/5 with red so the calculation to add these would be:
    2/5+1/5=3/5
Now the question asks us what fraction of the vase is painted to work this out you have to do the calculation:
    5/5 or 1-3/5=2/5
So the fraction of the part of the vase not painted is 2/5.

4.If the family had 20 maize cobs 1/4 is kept for the seeds the calculation is :
    1/4 of 20=5
So they keep 5 maize cobs for seeds.
To find out how many are left for food, subtract the number kept from the total so the calculation is:
    20 – 5 = 15
So, they have 15 maize cobs left for food.

5.If a trader starts with 15jade beads and sells 2/3 of them in the market the calculation would be :
    2/3 of 15= 10
So the trader sells 10 beads and has left over of 5 beads.

    GOLD:

    1.The calculation would be 8*7=56.
So in total there are 56 glyphs carved in total.

    2.The calculation would be 12*9=108
So in total there are 108 plants in the farm.

    3.The calculation would be 3*15=45.
So in total 45 cups were consumed.

    4.The calculation would be 6*4=24
So in total there are 24 patterns.

    5.The calculation would be 5*24=120.
So in total there would be 120 jade beads.

1)The farmer has 12 cacao beans and shares them equally among 4 friends.
    So we do the division-
    12 ÷ 4 = 3
To write this as a fraction we can write it as-
    3/1.
Therefore, each friend gets 3 cacao beans, which can be represented as the fraction 3/1.
2)The total number of slices is 8. If 3 slices are eaten we can find out how many slices are left by subtracting the eaten slices from the total-
    8 – 3 = 5
Now to express the amount of cornbread left as a fraction of the total we write:
Number of slices left / Total number of slices = 5/8.
So the fraction of the cornbread that is left after 3 slices are eaten is 5/8.
    5/8 of the cornbread remains.
    3)Convert 1/5 to a fraction with a common denominator of 5:
    1/5 = 1/5
    Now add the fractions
    2/5 + 1/5 = (2 + 1)/5 = 3/5
So 3/5 of the vase is painted.
To find out what fraction is not painted we subtract the painted fraction from the whole vase
    1 – 3/5 = 5/5 – 3/5 = 2/5
therefore 2/5 of the vase is not painted yet.
    4) Calculate 1/4 of 20:
    1/4 of 20 = 20/4 = 5
They keep 5 maize cobs for seeds.
to find out how many are left for food, subtract the number kept from the total
    20 – 5 = 15
So, they have 15 maize cobs left for food
