A super first week back in nursery!
Nursery have had a great week back in school! This term we are focusing on traditional tales.
This week we shared the story of Aladdin. The children really enjoyed learning about this story.
We talked about how Aladdin found treasure and that was special, we talked about what is special to us. We talked about who Aladdin took with him on a magic carpet ride and we shared who we would take with us on a magic carpet ride. The children drew pictures of who they would take and had a go at writing the initial sound to match.
We drew pictures of palaces and talked about what a palace is and who lives there. The children had a go at using bricks and Lego to build their own palace. We discussed the story of Aladdin and the characters. We role played the story. Please see all the pictures below of what we have been doing in nursery this week!
