Bread Bread Bread in 4R

On Friday, as part of our Design and Technology topic, the children were making their own bread. Over the term, the children had been designing and planning how they could make it, which style of bread they would like and what special ingredients they will be adding.

Once the dough had been made and fermented, in the afternoon, the children all took part in shaping the dough to make their desired bread. The children were very creative in their designs and really enjoyed this activity.

These amazing designs were then put into the oven to be baked. Once they were baked, they were taken out and given to the children. I was really impressed with their efforts and how well they did. As you can see by the pictures below, the children were really happy as well!
