On Wednesday the 5th of March, Broad Heath Primary School received the Flame of Friendship from our fantastic Neighbours Fredrick Bird Primary School. The Flame of Friendship is passing though every school in the city. To make the afternoon special, our friends from Fredrick Bird delivered a dance they had made on the theme “faster, higher, stronger”. We then took part in some shared games, playing dodgeball, netball, boccia, golf and archery with their students and our sports leaders. Thanks go to their students and teachers for bringing 30 students who represented their school so well, as well as our Broad Heath sports leaders from year 5 and 6 for supporting the activity.
