In our spectacular Science lesson we understood how friction effects movement. Children conducted an experiment testing five different materials including sandpaper, felt, paper, cellophane and bubble wrap. They found some interesting results which the children will answer below as challenge questions 😊 Children found that friction does indeed effect movement and helps to slow things down. They also discovered that certain weather conditions cause less friction to occur such as ice and rain. Overall, a fantastic experiment and brilliant results! Watch the video below to find out more 😊
