Teachers should be on strike because of the pay some have family’s but they will need money for their family , to pay for electricity and water, for gas , new clothes , gifts and food.
So that is why I agree with the teachers being on strike 👩‍🏫 👨‍🏫 🧑‍🏫
I believe we should make it fair to the teachers for them and family 👨‍👩‍👧👨‍👩‍👦👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👨‍👩‍👧‍👧👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👩‍👦👨‍👧

Year 3- I agree teachers should be on strike because they aren’t getting paid enough so that’s why I know teachers should go on strike.

Yes of course because teachers might not get paid enough by the government so they get angry because they try so hard so they quit because the government doesn’t give that much payment

I think we should have a strike because the teachers don’t get money that they want and students should also have a strike because we’ve had there would be no teachers to be with in their class.Like we should have give one pound to all the teachers because they just don’t get enough money to pay for stuff like a water bottle,iPad or tabble.we need more money to give to the teachers so then they can have more money. And more money to pay their bill and electric

I agree that teachers should be on a strike because some teachers are not getting paid enough and probably some of the teachers might quit their job

I think teachers should be allowed on strike because they are not getting enough money from the government. And other people get inspired by the same things so teachers don’t give up there dreams but other jobs are easier to get as we only need a bit of skills for example police officers job is easy to get and get more money 💰

Teachers are going on strike for the pay rise because everything has gone expensive these days and the government should take responsible action to avoid this. Teachers work hard to teach kids everyday. I really hope they find a solution soon because striking for a long time will affect the studies of children in schools.

We talked about what a strike is. The children understood that people strike because they feel undervalued and don’t get paid enough for what they do. We understood that it wasn’t about greed, but quality of life.

Natan – “To get the Government to listen and care.”
Zakir – ” A strike is when they ask for more money for schools and hospitals.”
Hannah – “A strike is when you meet other teachers and nurses who want the same thing.”

4 White discussed why some teachers were on strike.
As a class we had a vote.
63% agreed that the teachers should be on strike.
37% believe teachers shouldn’t be on strike.
Hudayfa feels that they should be on strike because they have a job which massively impacts our lives and go above and beyond. He feels they should be paid more for what they do.
Ayaan feels that because the teachers were on strike it impacted his learning.
Sayda believes that teachers should go on strike as the government are being unfair by reducing the funding they give to schools.

Amelia – People don’t come to work on their strike day.
Rishaan – People go on strike because they do not enjoy how they are told to work.
Hussain – People might think their work is too hard.

Yes I agree I don’t think it’s fair. Teachers should go on strike. If prices are increasing why shouldn’t pay increase? Also , teachers aren’t as appreciated as they should be. So I think they should go on strike.

I agree that the world should go on strike because the people of Britain do not get paid enough.
But I also disagree because this means shops and restaurants are crowded.
Mum said she went to a local restaurant and had to wait an hour and a half to get a table so she did not get lunch
