Maths Week

This week, 5 Red have participated in a fun, engaging Maths week where they have focused on all things shapes.

The children have built on their knowledge of different types of angles and shapes, including 2D and 3D shapes.

They have also created their own art pieces, inspired by Wassily Kandinsky.

What does obtuse/ acute mean? Can an angle be greater than 180°? What do you call an
angle such as this? How many degrees are there in a full turn?

What are the features of a polygon? Is a shape with all equal sides always a regular polygon?

Challenge:

Have a lovely half term everyone!
