This week we have looked and practised the sound ’ay’ (digraph). Look at our photos to help you remember. We are reading Playday to help us learn the ’ay’ sound. Please read this book and practise the sound.
Playday Taking turns to read. 
There is a worksheet I have given you. There are real and nonsense words on the worksheet, can you work out which ones are real? Write all the words that have ’ay’ in them on a piece of paper and show me on Monday. I hope to see lots of words. Don’t forget to read your book, ask your adult to listen to you read.
Next week, we will be looking at the sound ’ee’ (digraph). Do you know any words that have ‘ee’ in them?
