Over the last few weeks we have been reading an extract from the book called ‘Stig of the Dump’. in the first week the boys have learned about the characters and understood key vocabulary. This week they are acting out the first part of the story. They are working hard to develop their dialogue and action skills.
Below is the extract of the story they acted out. Well done for a super start. We shall continue working on this.

  1. What warning did Barney’s sister and grandmother give him about the chalk pit?
  2. What is the chalk pit being used for now?
  3. Barney likes to take risks. What evidence is there in the text to support this? (I know you don’t have the text but think about what he does)
  4. How can you improve with your actions and voice?
