Reading comprehension starters (5 Blue parents).

Hello all,

As a follow up from our meeting (12/03/2024 and 14/03/2024) I have created this blog to help you support your children with their reading comprehension skills, which in turn will strengthen their recall and understanding.

VIPERS is a range of reading prompts that cover the range of skills that your children will need when approaching their reading sessions. It also covers the skills your children will be formally tested on.

If you can follow your child’s reading up with one or two questions from the prompts below it would be hugely beneficial.
