Most countries have rules and laws that have been put in place to tackle climate change. The COP26 climate summit brings world leaders together as although their rules and laws may vary, their aim is the same.
IF YOU HAD ONE REQUEST OR PLEA THAT THIS MEETING THINKS ABOUT, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
1. Don’t use fossil fuels
2. Don’t cut down lots of trees because 20 percent of oxygen comes from trees
3. Don’t eat a lot of meat because animals cause greenhouse gases
4. Help the environment by picking up litter and put it in the recycling bin

3 White think that everybody should have an electric car to cut the amount of CO2 emissions that come from cars. We think it is important to protect the ozone layer and our atmosphere so we can have a good future and life.
My request is to not burn fossil fuel ⛽️
Don’t throw litter in rivers,lakes,ponds,oceans as it can harm animals in different ways
Try to walk more don’t use your car as much
Plant a tree this is so we can have more oxygen in the world
Stop deforestation as it will release carbon dioxide.
Try not to buy lots of plastic from shops as it does get thrown around and it can ruin lots of habitats and actually Kill them.
If I did have one request it would be not to litter and destroy the rainforest because it could harm the animals and will release way more carbon dioxide than it will when it is not chopped down.
That we should recycle our paper, cardboard and plastic. Also we shouldn’ t use cars regularly so we don’t release greenhouse gasses.

If I had one plea I would recommend that people to stop burning fossil fuels and making the world hotter.
I think they should spread more awareness reminding people not to litter.
Also people waste a lot of materials in factories and burn them and the release carbon dioxide which is bad for the Earth so I think they should get less materials to make the things they need .

One rule I would like to add is that you can only use cars for emergencies or long travelling to release less gas.
If you had ONE request or plea that this meeting thinks about, what would it be?
Mine would be that people would stop littering as it can ruin coral reefs and the ocean, it also can kill many sea creatures like fish and turtles.

We think the fines for littering should be higher because our animals are getting hurt.
We think people should try growing their own fruit and vegetables.
We should also try to walk or ride bicycles, rather than driving.
To use bikes and walk so you don’t release greenhouse gases.reduce plastic waste and bags so you don’t litter in the floor or throw them in the ocean . Therefore stop deforestation and cutting trees down because it is release carbon dioxide .

Most of the class believe that there should be a law against littering- they think there should be a punishment such as if you caught then you have to litter pick in the community for a set amount of time.
Amirah believes there should be a law against burning fossil fuel and that leaders should provide an alternative.
Mohammed believes that petrol and diesel cars should be banned. He suggests that electric cars should be more affordable so everyone who needs them can buy them. People could also be encouraged to walk more and car share – an incentive could be offered.
Adam believes there should be a law about deforestation- if you can’t down a tree then you must plant another in its place.

My plea is to lower the population of cows to stop methane getting into our atmosphere.
