    1. My favourite part about Science and Maths week was Camouflage day. This is because we were looking at how we could survive in the rainforest and we cooked banana and with chocolate chips, which was really cool because we did an actual fire.

2.The experiments we did was if people with longer legs rum faster then people with shorter legs. This was a hard estimation because the person with short legs ran the fastest but also another person with short legs ran the slowest. This is because the person that came first was fully trained and he does a lot of exercise. But on the other hand the person that ran a lot slower then him doesn’t do training and exercise. This shows that training and exercise is good for you and makes you more fit.

3.I have learnt how to survive in the Amazon rainforest of any rainforest I know how to clear water so you can drink it,I know how to start a fire and to find safe foods to eat or cook it on top of a fire.
I have really enjoyed Science and Maths week and I have learnt so much and if I do get stuck in a rainforest I will us what I have learnt to survive.

    1. My favourite part was when we made periscopes.
    2. We did an experiment when we placed different materials on a datalogger and found out the best material to block the Sun is felt and the worst material to block the Sun was the sari material.
    3. I learnt how a periscope works.

My favourite part of this week was learning about quicksand as we watched a video on non neutontion fluids.

The experiment we did was do children with longer legs run faster and we discovered that children with shorter legs run faster.

My favourite part this week was when we cut out the planets.
Our experiment: We looked at plants temperature and saw which plant grew the best.
I learnt lots of exciting information about Mars ( it is maroon, no oxygen on it so no life there, the second smallest planet in the solar system).

What was your favourite part about this week?
my favourite part about this week was when we rosted bananas with chocolate chips over the fire pit.

What experiments did you do, and what were your findings?
I experimented “do children with longer legs run faster?” and I found out that children with shorter legs run faster.

    Did you learn anything exciting?
I learned about quick sand: Why you get stuck in it, how to get out, and why and how it is a non-neutonian fluid (a liquid that dosen’t follow Issac Newton’s rules for one).

My favourite part was Rainforest day. On that day, we did an experiment on eating chocolate chips melted in banana. I learnt that all things don’t look the same when they come out from rainforests.

What was your favourite part about this week?
I liked testing the VR headsets
What experiments did you do, and what were your findings?
We used a data logger, different materials that might block light, a torch and a card board box, we put a data logger inside the box then we had a hole in the box we covered it with some of the materials, after that we used a torch on to the materials and we looked inside to see how much light came from the data logger
    Did you learn anything exciting?
I thought exciting was testing the light on the tree to see the shadow.

my favourite part of project week was when we had our camouflage day (survival day) as we got to do many fun activities such as a campfire and a math activity around school. One of our experiments was to investigate the question ‘do children with longer legs run faster than people with shorter legs’ our findings told us that children with longer legs don’t run faster it depends if you are fit. So our trend became ‘children with shorter legs run faster than children with longer legs. Despite the frequent rainfall in the Amazon rainforest, most people fail to survive because of dehydration. Finding a reliable water source is just as important as in any other rainforest. One way to purify the water is to boil the dirty water to kill all types of bacteria. The rivers and streams will get you to civilisation, and are called the ‘highways’ of the Amazon. They are the only solution you have if you want to get out of the rainforest safe and sound. The warm, humid environment changes your body’s needs and helps it not needing as much food as usual.
