Today Miss Smith taught us that our school statement is ‘to gain’ because we weren’t too sure!
We knew that our school values are kindness, honesty and teamwork. We learnt this during our project week!
There are 5 school rules. We can’t wait for Graham and Mrs Rullay to come and see us with the Citizen of the Week certificate.
We are working as a team to fill the Brick Wall. We hope we get to go on the bouncy castle! Other good treats would be ice cream, trampolining, toys or lollies!

Broad Heath’s mission statement is ‘To Gain’, in 1 Red we are going to work hard to do our best to reach all our goals, inside and outside of the classroom. This week we have focused on Honesty (It’s important to tell the truth and not tell lies), Teamwork (To work together to help each other) and Individuality (we are all different, but we are all very special).
We have 5 rules at Broad Heath we discussed them altogether in class and some of us even practised writing them.
Graham and Mrs Rullay visit out classroom and announce the ‘Citizen of The Week’. We celebrate this award by wearing a medal.
We have a brick wall in our class, when it is full, the winning class will receive a special reward.

In RW we discussed the school rules and have introduced the brick wall. The children are very excited to gain more bricks for our wall and are trying increasingly hard to do this.
We discussed possible rewards for winning the brick wall and the children in RW came up with the following;
– pizza
– chocolate
– bouncy castle
– movie time
– extra play time.
We are sure the children will work really hard to gain more bricks in RW!
