2. Kindness: Helping others in the classroom or taking someone to first aid if they feel poorly/hurt.
Imagination: Thinking outside the box or by being creative (This week we were imaginative when we wrote acrostic poems)
Communication: talking to each other to be able to help better or when we fall out and have to apologise and explain our feelings (this also requires empathy)

Tenacity- we drew 3 different drawings of a dragons eye, trying each time to improve and not giving up.
Brilliance- an example of a brilliant person is Winston Churchill, year 3 learnt about the brilliance Winston Churchill achieved throughout world war 2.
Respect- We can respect our school values, our friends and their culture/ religion.

On Fridays we find out who is citizen of the week and receive a certificate for one of our BH values. The children think it’s nice to win awards because it makes them feel happy and proud.
The class needs to work as a team, an example of this would be today we were ALL following the BH rules and Mrs Rullay gave us a brick! Teamwork makes the dream.
3 Red said they would love the chance to win rewards like sweets and ice creams and extra playtime.

Broad Heaths mission statement is ‘To Gain’. Our Class manta is ‘Where Dreams are Born’.
One school value is respect we show this by being kind and understanding of each others needs and differences.
Another is tenacity this is where we try our best and never give up when we find things hard and find ourselves in a dip we need to be reflective to help us make progress.
A third value is brilliance and this is when we achieve something great. We aim to show brilliance by winning the brick wall this year. This would be a great achievement for 3 White.
We have 5 behaviour rules which help us be good citizens.
On Friday Graham and Mrs Rullay come and award the citizen of the week the special medal.
To get a special team reward we need to earn bricks to win the brick wall. We could win a turn on the bouncy castle, hot chocolate as a treat or any other sweet treat. We could also have fun and get our face painted.
