Week 4 in Reception Blue ๐Ÿ˜Š

This week we continued with our new topic of โ€˜People Who Help Usโ€™ and this week we looked at shopkeepers. Please take a look at our learning from the week and comment on what you have enjoyed and why. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Understanding of the World – To explore our local area. Walk to the shops.

Literacy -we read the story of The Shopping Basket by John Burningham and role played be a shopkeeper. We also wrote a shopping list using our phonic knowledge.

Maths – we began to explore the composition of 10 and understand number bonds to 10.

Seal– We talked about making healthy choices when we eat.

Basic Skills – Dough Disco & letter and number formations.

SMSC – we talked about what a good friend is and learnt about how Jesus had special friends.
