Spring 2 Week 1 in RB.

Welcome back.😊 This week we will be starting our new topic of ‘People Who Help Us’. Please take a look at our super learning. What was your favourite part of the week?

Communication and Language/Understanding of the World – To understand how to listen carefully and ask questions to find out more.

As part of our new topic about people who help us, we interviewed Mr Kane, a Year 5 teacher in our school. We asked lots of questions about what it is like to be a teacher and the different jobs that he has to do.

Literacy -To write a thank you card

Maths – To explore distance and length

We predicted who we thought would throw the beanbag the furthest. After throwing our beanbags we checked our predictions and thought about how we might measure the distance of the throws. We came up with lots of brilliant suggestions, such as using our footsteps, using blocks, pencils or books.

SEAL – To understand how to make safe choices

EAD –To develop storylines in their pretend play /PSED – To build constructive and respectful relationships

SMSC – To talk about who is special to us and why

We talked about why our friends are special and how they help us.
