Word of the Week 2 ✍️

This week, I introduced a word of the week for the children. Their task was to use the word correctly in a sentence, but more importantly, they need to spell the word correctly.

The word of the week was ‘breath’.

I was really impressed by the children’s efforts at trying to include ‘breath’ in their sentences, but I did tell the children that there can only be one winner each week.

The winner this week is… Hadiya! ⭐

Her sentence was, “Whenever I cry, my kind, sweet mum tells me to take a deep breath.”

This sentence was really well written. The use of an expanded noun phrase within this sentence gave it the extra edge to win this week.

Everyone will get another chance to write the most creative and interesting sentence next week, with a new word!
