Children return to school Mon 8th April

Hi, Lovely Year 4!

Here is your homework for this week. Make sure you complete two pieces. Please bring it back by Wednesday.

English

This week, I would like you to make a poster showing the key features of a newspaper report. Explain how they make the report interesting or effective. Present it in your book or on paper and bring it in to school.

Maths

Practise your times tables on Times table Rockstars and record your scores in your homework book.

Wow Work

Imagine you are an evacuated child. What would you take with you and why? Perhaps design your suitcase, or create a poster explaining your choices. We look forward to seeing your efforts!

If I was an evacuee child I would bring a teddy bear because I will miss my parents and some pictures of the wall so I would remember them. I would also have a rationing book so that I could get all the food I would need I would take a gas mask in case they bombed the countryside. I would bring some clothes to wear and also a hat since they say hey that hats finish off your outfits .I will also bring a diary to keep on notes of memories that me and my parents had also a few books to read📚📘📖
