1 ) 20 – 1 = 19 in this case is equal to the letter S
13 + 7 = 20 ( For this equation I can recall my number facts to 10. If 7 + 3 = 10 then 13 + 7 = 20) 20 is equal to the letter T
16 – 15 = 1 . 1 is equal to the the letter A
12 + 6 = 18 . 18 is the letter R
9 + 10 = 19. The number 19 is the letter S

2 ) 12 – 9 = 3 . 3 in this case is the letter C
7 + 8 = 15 . I can see that 15 is represented by the letter O
5 + 8 = 13 . A way I worked it out was that I did 5 + 5 which was 10 and added on 3
which gave me the answers 13 and the letter M
12 – 7 = 5. You could do this by using the inverse. We know that 5 + 7 = 12 so 12 – 7 = 5. 5 is E
12 + 8 = 20. Again we know 2 + 8 = 10 so 12 + 8 = 20 you could even do 18 + 2 and it would equal the SAME thing. Our letter is T
15 + 4 = 19 . AGAIN you could use a number fact of 5 + 4 = 9. Our letter is S

15 – 10 = 5 . I know this because if 5 + 10 = 15 then 15 – 10 = 5 . 5 is E
8 + 8 = 16 . You could also do 8 x 2 which is also 16. 16 is P
20 + 0 = 20 for 0 means nothing. 20 is the letter T
25 – 4 = 21. I could work this out fast by knowing that 5 – 4 = 1. 21 is the letter U
7 + 7 = 14 you could also do 2 x 7 or 7 x 2 they both work . 14 is the letter N
13 – 8 = 5. 5 is equal to the letter E

5 ) 27 (for this I found FWM was the easiest method)

1 ) Earth + moon = 26
2 ) Sun x Earth = 228 to get this I learnt to do this you could multiple 20 x 12 to get 240. Then you take away a group of 12 to get to 228.
3 ) ( Sun x Earth) / Neptune . Looking at this problem we just learned that Sun x Earth = 228 So all we have to do is divide 6 which would equal 38
4 ) ( Jupiter x Sun ) / Neptune . To work this out we do 4 x 12 which equals 48 then, divide that by 6 which is 8.
