The heart pumps all around the body and all the little holes allow it to pump. All of the functions in the heart matter because if you don’t have them then it could lead to a heart disease. I have enjoyed looking at the heart.

The blood goes from the left atrium down to the left ventricle before leaving through the pulmonary artery which leads to the lungs. The blood then collects the oxygen and goes back into the via the pulmonary vein and into the right atrium, right ventricle and finally going to the other cells of the body. The thumping noise of the heart comes from when the valves rhythmically open and close.

The Muscle at the middle of our circulation system is what is pumping our blood around our bodies as our heart beats. The blood from this sends oxygen and nutrients to all parts of our bodies and also carries unwanted carbon dioxide and our waste products.
