Both the boys an girls team came 1st in the competition, as well as Ebenezer claiming 3rd place for individual boy competitor and Inayha claiming a silver medal for the girls individual. Both teams, Ebenezer, Rustam, Yaseen and Jamaal for the boys, and Elham, Dunmi, Zarhaa and Inayha for the girls, will now go on to represent Coventry West at the County Finals which will be on Tuesday 20th February. Well done to all those who took part.

In addition to that event, another group of year 6 children took part in the participation rowing event. This is for students who have shown an interest or good ability in the event but who wouldn’t get chance to represent the school. The children who came all enjoyed taking part, and the mixed teams came 6th and 9th in the festival.

Thanks go to all the pupils who took part, the organisers at the school games, Miss Shilton for organising the practices and the Year 6 team for their support!
