  9. Leon T.

Please can I have some help on question 30?

    1. Miss Gittings

For question 30, divide your perimeter by 2 as there are two equal sides to a rectangle. You then need to work out the two biggest numbers that can make your answer using addition. Once you have worked out the two numbers, multiply them together to get your answer.

      1. Leon T.

I am still struggling with question 30

  10. Miss Gittings

Fantastic work from all children who have completed or are completing the LBQ tasks! Keep it up!

    1. Mr Inman

Yes. It’s all fine Aaminah! What was the struggle with question 29?

      1. Aaminah A.

It was quite laggy. But my answer is 52.

        1. Head Teacher

          What is laggy?

  13. Leon T.

    what are the side lengths

    1. Mrs Morris

Leon have a look at the guidance above.
The green shape has one length missing. It is a vertical line. Look at the length of the two other vertical lines. What operation do you think you will need to calculate this length?
Once you have found this, you add all six numbers together.

  14. Aisha R.

  19. Leon T.

Please can you help me on question 29

    1. Mr Inman

You need to label the sides. If each one has an area of 36m squared, the look at the one on the left. The length is 9m so the width must be 4m. So label the 4 metres on. Do the same for all of the rectangles and then add all the side lengths together.

  20. Lillie

    I have completed this!

    1. Mr Inman

      Well done Lillie!

  21. Mr Inman

Keep going Saee, Aaminah, Joni and Suraiyah!

    1. Mr Inman

Hmmm. A couple of possible solutions.

      1) Try a different device if you have one?
      2) Try a different web browser?

    2. Samik S.

I am doing the LBQ on my parents laptop instead

      1. Mr Inman

        Excellent. Well done for sorting!

  25. Leon T.

Please can you help me on question 27

    1. Mr Inman

Try making the rectangle as long as you possible can (eg 24m by 1m) and then as tight as you can (eg 6m X 4m) and see which gives you the largest perimeter.

  26. Sadeen S.

    I did the lbq

    1. Mr Inman

Well done Sadeen! Got there in the end with Question 13!
