This week, in History, we learnt how the tradition of celebrating Bonfire Night first began! We had our very own little bonfire on the field and enjoyed some biscuits with our friends.

Tell me what you learnt about Guy Fawkes. What did he try to do and why? What happened in the end?
Ayman learned that,
Guy Fawkes tried to dig the ground and he tried to kill King James because King was mean to everyone. In the end, King James guards found Guy Fawkes and his friends.
The bad person put gun powder under the chair.
He did! Who did he try to do this to?
Haitham said that guy fawkes tried to blow up the parliament with gunpowder to kill the king but they caught him and put him in jail

Haitham said the kings name was James 😊
