2 White- Science investigators

This week it was Little Red Riding Hood who needed our help, she had torn her cape and asked Year 2 to make her a new one…Our clever little scientists in 2 White tested a range of materials and their physical properties to find which would be perfect for Little Red’s new cape.

What properties did the cape need to have?

Which material was most suitable? Why?

  1. The cape needs to be strong, light, water proof, soft and keep little red riding hood warm.

The material that was most suitable after the investigation was plastic because it’s light and water proof.
