2Blue Test Materials!

The Gingerbread Man needs to cross the river to escape the sly, cunning fox! 2Blue came to the rescue (as usual). They tested a range of materials to find the one that is rigid…let’s see what they found out!
CHALLENGE: Which material was rigid for a bridge?
Why wasn’t a bridge made from paper suitable?

Paper was not good for a bridge 🌉 because it was falling down

The best material is the popsicle stick

  3. Hosanna N.

A paper was not suitable because it could easily sink into the river.

  4. Hosanna N.

The best material was a lollipop stick because it could float.

  5. Rayyan R.

The lollipop stick was good for a bridge because it is rigid and strong 💪 and when we made a paper bridge the cubes were falling down and the paper isn’t strong to hold the bridge.

The lolly pop stick was the most suitable because it was rigid and it didn`t change shape.
The opposite was the paper because it fell down multiple times and it changed shapes so it was not suitable. It was fun .
