This week our focus is on how they celebrate Christmas in Holland. We learnt that SinterKlaas is a legendary figure based on Saint Nicholas, patron saint of children. Today in 3 Red we got creative and made our very own SinterKlaas 🎅 out of paper.
What else did you learn about Holland’s Christmas traditions?
I learnt that sinterklaas is from Holland

It was so fun and it was so nice and i know Duch Ianguug but I know how to say
merry chismas in Duch Ianguug I know how to say In santer In Duch
I learned that children from the Netherlands they put hay in their shoes and when Saint Nicholas comes his reindeer eats the hay and Saint Nicholas put some presents.
We learned how Christmas had been celebrated and We made Sinkerklaas with his horse
I loved it and the fact I learnt was in Holland they don’t call Santa claws they call him sinterklaas🎅
That was the best part I had been created sinterklaas!!
I loved this craft and it was so much fun 🤩😍😆😍😆
It was very fun.
