1. 5 features of a newspaper report are the headline, the by line, the picture, the caption and the paragraphs. You can also find eyewitness or expert quotes.
2. The purpose of a headline is that it gives details about what the newspaper is about. It tries to engage the reader and it shows what the newspaper is about.
