    1. No, a Canal is not a river because it is a human feature and rivers are a physical feature. Rivers are natural.

    banks, the gates and how long it should be.

    A canal is not river because it is man-made and rivers are natural.
    A bench,House and a tree are features of a canal.
    The man who made coventry canal is James Brindley.

    1.) No Canals are built by people Canals are built to carry goods by boat from one place to another.
    2.) 3 features of the Canal Basin are:
    1.Buildings.
    2.Boats.
    3.Trees.
    3.) James Brindley designed the Canal Basin in 1752.

    IS A CANAL A RIVER?
    No.. Canal is not a river because, it is man made and it flows flat. Whereas, a river flows downhill and is natural..
    List 3 features of the canal basin.

    2. Buildings
    3. Bridges
    Who was the engineer who designed the canal basin?
