6Red Sonnet Performances

Today, 6 Red took on the challenge of performing a sonnet. We had looked at several sonnets to find out the features and then picked our favourite one to perform.
During our performance we had to think about the rhythm (iambic pentameter), expression, pace and intentional pauses. Our outcomes can be found below.

    KEY FEATURES
    -needs 14 lines
    -each line needs to have 10 syllables
    -needs to have 3 quatrains and 2 lines.
    -iambic pentameter
    -needs to rhyme every other line
    TO IMPROVE OUR SONNETS
    To improve our sonnets i think we should make eye conatact while peforming.

    What are the features for a sonnet?
    The features for a sonnet are it should be 14 lines,it should have ten syllables,there 3 qutarines and 2 lines at the end and the first line should rhyme with the third and the second
    should rhyme with the fourth.
    What would you improve about your performance?
    I would improve that everyone is just looking at the screen and not looking at the camera.

    What are the key features of a sonnet?
    The key features of a sonnet are:
    -They always have 14 lines.
    -There is 3 quatrains and 2 lines.
    -They are written in Iambic Pentameter.
    -The first and third line rhyme and the second and fourth
    line rhyme.

    To improve our performances, we can:
    -Give more expression when saying the sonnet.
    -Be loud and clear.
