3 Red’s Egyptian Day

Today 3 Red had an excellent Egyptian day showcasing their creativity, teamwork and knowledge. We started the day locating Egypt on a map and using our atlas skills. Afterwards we learnt more about Ancient Egyptian writing and used this knowledge to create our own cartouches (death tags). In the afternoon we research information about the fascinating Queen of Egypt, Cleopatra and used our imagination to create posters. Throughout the day we also used our pinching and moulding techniques to shape our canopic jars and sculpt the heads.
