For question 5 on the ‘channel tunnel’ text, you need to look in the introduction paragraph and need to find key words that highlight the train is fast and think about the feeling that creates for the reader.

The choice of words the author has chosen like “high-speed passenger trains” and “people from Kent to calias in France in over half an hour using this feat of engineering” and “astonishing 160km in an hour” This makes it sound exciting and a fast way to travel compared to other ways.
I have done the reading comprehension.
Well done Gufran.
On question 3, it asks you about the mood of this text. It means the specific extract, not the whole book or reading in general.
Was it one of awe and wonder? Fear and trepidation? Can you find any evidence to back this up?
Oh! And that work wasn’t really for you Gufran!
Rahat, if something is ‘dreamt up’ it often means that the idea is first thought then. So, if the text says “were dreamt up in 1808: a ground-breaking plan for an underwater passageway…” What do you think that means?
