We enjoyed colour mixing too!

Wow. What an excellent Art lesson this afternoon. We used lots of different size and shapes to print. Everyone followed my instructions so well using listening and creativity skills. The photos shows all the evidence.

Can you remember which 3d shapes you used ?
Year 1 created a masterpiece!

Here we made Islamic patterns using 2D shapes. We used pre cut 2D shapes and we used plastic shapes to draw around to create our designs.

We looked at different Islamic patterns and then practiced creating our own patterns using different art media.

    Red and yellow to make orange.
    Mix yellow and blue to make green.
    We used black,blue and red to make purple.
    Adam said his favourite activity was when he rolled marble to make different colours.

      Thank you Adam you will to see your work on display in the classroom showing this. Lots of children enjoyed doing this activity. What I liked was you mixed so many different colours to make new colours and able to use super vocabulary to tell me about it too.
