It was alright learning about the Mayan’s because we could have a virtual experience of what the ancient buildings were like ( e.g chichen Itza).
As well as we explored the different ancient monuments that lied in ancient Mexico.

I enjoyed this, we had learnt about the Mayans in history and what they did, what they made and who they praised. It is interesting to see how they represent their kings and gods

I learnt that the Mayans were one of the many ancient civilisations. They prayed to idols. Mayan kings had the desire to be remembered and the best way they could achieve that was art.

I learnt that Frederick Catherwood was an English artist and architect who was well known for his detailed drawings of the ruins of the Mayan Civilisation. In 1839, he travelled to Central America with John Loyd Stephens.
