What a great day of Maths learning! We explored the contribution that the Ancient Egyptians made to maths and how that has impacted us. Our main focus was an Egyptian mathematician Diophantus, who was also known as the King of algebra.
We used Diophantus’ contribution to solve addition and subtraction pyramids, to solve inverse calculations to answer clues to help build a pyramid and we cracked the code using inverse calculations.
