This week in Project Week part 1, the children have had the opportunity to design and create a cam mechanism and a toy in DT. They have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and had lots of fun.
Please take a look at their efforts.
1.I made amendments by decorating the frame with blue tissue paper so it looks like the sea.
2.The most important values that we used are Teamwork Resilience and Brilliance.
3.The cam mechanism works by rotating the handle and then the follower will start to follow the movements and after that the topper should rotate og go up and down.
We used knowledge teamwork and imagination.The can mechanism work so there an topper on a stick the cam is on an stick and it jumps and spins.
We could make more attachments by making it look more better and cooler
