Wednesday Day 1

What is an Entrepreneur?
Today, we have learnt what an Entrepreneur is. An Entrepreneur is a business owner who wants to promote their business. Some entrepreneurs are Karren Brady and Bill Gates

We used our computer research skills to find information about the entrepreneur Karren Brady.

We created and carried out a survey to help us to create a game for our target audience.

After completing our survey we moved on the design and create a game for Year 5 to sell at the summer fayre. From our market research results we settled on a game of noughts and crosses.
We used air dry clay to make our counters for the game. We then had a go at sewing. The children have used the values of tenacity and resilience. The skills used were how to make the pedal faster or slower on the sewing machine, guiding the material through the machine and learning how to sew.

Thursday Day 2

We made advertising posters for all of the games we will be running at the summer fayre. Making sure they are bold, colourful and enticing to everyone.

Friday Day 3

We then learnt the basics of economics , focusing on supply and demand , income and expenditure and profits of a business. We then finished our pull string-bags that we will sell at the Summer Fair.

    1. An entrepreneur is someone who starts a business in any way .
    2.I have used sewing skills and perseverance skills in this week’s learning like listening and watching to aprentist , learning about exotics etc. And even sewing with a sewing machine .
    3.I enjoyed making the posters , sewing , maths I enjoyed everything because I love school.
