  14. Aisha B.

In our class this year, our mantra was ‘Creativity takes Courage’.
This mantra means we had to show values of creativity, individuality, independence and confidence.
One moment when I used creativity was whenever we had to make posters.Another time I used independence was when we had to write stories or plans by ourselves.
Growing up here at Broad Heath, I have ‘gained’ love for learning, respect for resources, all the values and especially lots of special memories.

    1. Head Teacher

You were the best actress ever, keep on performing and gaining. X

Our class mantra is Creativity takes Courage. This year, I have used both these values. The creativity and imagination is evident in art and English, and courage helped me by being confident and proud of my work.
I have also use a great amount of resilience during times which have been tough. This includes our run-up to SATs, when the stress and pressure were weighing down on me, but I tried my best and received great results.
Teamwork was also evident throughout the year. Without this,we would not have succeeded in our trip at Coombe Abbey, or have done great in many our amazing group projects ( Fiver challenge, Tent making). The final, though equally important, value I have definitely use this year is kindness. I have used it when going on trips out of school ( Drayton Manor, Dovedale), and greeting staff around the school.
My final year at this marvellous school,Broad Heath, has been a success. I have enjoyed our many topics in each subjects, not forgetting theme based days (Mayan day, Black Death day). I have achieved a great amount, such as in my SATs test, and my graduation has been excellent. My times in year 6 was probably the best in this incredible school.

    1. Head Teacher

I was in 6W with the mantra Creativity takes courage.
Our mantra means be creative because we can be more smarter by having lot of imagination. Also some of the values that link is: Brilliance and individuality. The last 7 years at Broad Heath have been a rollercoaster from: Drayton Manor, Doly-moch, Dove dale, The beach, Butterfly farm, Zoo,Canal and many more. In my opinion my most enjoyable moment in Broad Heath was Doly-moch because I got to be adventurous and live with may class for a week and with a different school. Throughout Broad Heath I have gained more than happiness I have gained lots more.

    1. Head Teacher

Keep being adventurous and testing boundaries.x

  23. Alexis J.

I am really thankful I got put into this amazing school not only to learn but to have fun, I still remember when I was in Year 2 and all these memories that I had throughout Broad Heath are over.. But they will still have a place in my heart!
Our class mantra has been ‘Creativity takes Courage.’
Our mantra uses the values of creativity, independence, individuality and confidence.
Throughout my time in year 6, I have used the values of: Independence, individuality, kindness, confidence, respect, empathy, tenacity, resilience etc.
One special moment I used the value of tenacity was when I was at Dol-Y-Moch by climbing up a mountain and when I did rowing!

My favourite year 6 trip has to be Dol-y-moch!

    1. Head Teacher

You have been ace Alexis, keep being positive. X

  24. In 6White,our class mantra was “ creativity takes courage.”
This shows that in 6W we had to use the values of:
    Resilience
    Imagination
    Individuality
    Communication
    Teamwork
Throughout my time in Broad Heath, I have made so many memories never to forget. However one of my favourite memories was the day I came to Broad Heath in Y1.I was welcomed by people who are now my friends.
This last year in Broad Heath is a year I’ll never forget, we have done so many incredible things:
    Dovedale
    Dol -y – moch
    Drayton Manor
    Glastonbury
    Parks
Unfortunately, for some of us, it is their last day. I am going to miss all of my friends and teachers and classmates.

    1. Head Teacher

And I will miss you, been privileged to have some great conversations with you. X

  25. Safya S.

Throughout the last three years I have been here I have had so many special memories! And as we work together we bond!
This means that me and my class have all shown the value individuality, creativity, teamwork and respect.
We used these values when respecting one another, respecting everyone’s ideas and being kind!
When being creative we also use our imagination (another value) and expressing our ideas in all subjects!
We are all individual and unique and we accept those differences!
We work together all the time and that is how we bond! ITS LIKE CLICK and we work together overcoming so many challenges!
In my final year here in this incredible school I have enjoyed so many thing and have created infinite memories when going to so many places having the opportunity to do exciting things such as : DRAYTON MANOR,THE CANAL,STRATFORD AND DOVEDALE!
I have held so many special memories and do not want to leave but I should not be sad because this is just the next step to my journey!
I will make sure I visit from time to time and I will miss everyone sooooooooo much!
    I NEVER WANT TO LEAVE!🥺😢☹️😔

    Thank u teachers
Throughout the seven years of my life in broad heath I have use different values such as teamwork , resilience and respect .we used the value respect because we listened to everyone’s oppinions and so did our teachers listen to our oppinions.

  28. Umaiza T.

Our class mantra has been ‘Creativity takes courage.’ It means that we have used the value of individuality.A special memory I remember using this value was the first week back (This is Me week), where we got to create silhouettes, and building it up with things we like. Out of my 8 years (Nursery to Year 6) I have had many treasuring memories, one of my favourites being the fact we had a 1960’s themed day in year 5! Where we got to make our own signs and protest! In my final year, I have enjoyed such trips as: Stratford Upon-Avon, Drayton Maner, Dol -y-Moch, Dovedale, Canal, Theatre and many more! Thank you Miss Vega and Mr Inman! You two have supported me throughout the year!

    1. Head Teacher

Your spirit and drive has been unique, well done.

  29. Bijan

Ive grown up to be a broadheath citizen and my journey to year 6 the teachers tells facts so our brains can grow and does not shout they are not funny instead they focus on us so we are doing the wrong thing 🔄 right thing.

We had lots of fun things like PE swimming etc the well-being day was fun as we learn and be good to each other witch can make us learn.

Through the years at broadheath I had gain special memories like banging my head this is one of my fondest memories that I remembered that was in the past.

In my final year I have enjoyed the trips like draton manor, the beach, the butterfly farm, museum Stratford and theatre.

    1. Head Teacher

And it was a pleasure to see you smile and laugh this last week, ditch the coat!x
