This half term all the children in Key stage 2 have been set the challenge of completing the London Mini-Marathon, which is 2.6 miles, or 25 laps of the all weather pitch. Children have completed half during their PE lessons and half during the rest of the week. They have been learning the importance of pacing themselves as well as the importance of being resilient.

This Saturday at 11:00 in Edgwick Park there will be the community mile followed by some football in the park. It would be great to see you all there. I will be down to see which year group has the most amount of children turning up on a Saturday. Can’t wait to see you all there!
