Reception Blue-Doctors 🧑‍⚕️🏨 27.3.23

This week we have been continuing with our topic of People who help us and have focused on doctors. We have looked at what doctors do and how they help us.

Please take a look at some of our learning from the week. Please comment on the blog and tell us what you enjoyed and why.😊

Literacy-We used our phonics skills and knowledge when reading and writing.

Maths-We used different 2D shapes to create pictures, identifying the larger shapes in the picture and the smaller shapes we used to make them.

Communication and language/Understanding of the world-We found out about the different jobs a doctor has to do and then had great fun in our role play area, taking turns to be doctor and patient!

EAD- we used our cutting skills and practised our joining skills using split pins to make a moving puppet.

The children enjoyed the Easter Hunt this week.😊

Thank you Zahra for your kind Easter eggs. They look delicious and I will be sure to pass Mrs Chapman’s on to her.😉Thanks again.

In our SMSC we talked about what makes a good friend.
