KS2- This week the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Man who decides where money is to be spent) introduced a new budget.What law/bill would you introduce if you were the Chancellor? Google budget 2023 for ideas.

I think this is a really good idea because maybe some people with packed lunch will get something unhealthy,
Also people want to get a job but they did not go school,
And 7 o’clock is good because people will get extra work.
I think 1 is good because I always go school and 2 is bad because it will early and I finish my homework in 7o clock that’s why and 3 is good as well because I always a school diner but at September 5th I’m a packed lunch. I liked these rules a lot thank you 🙏 please do it again please.

I don’t agree with 3 and 2 but I do agree with 1 because some people have excuses
to not go to school and 3 people can bring in lunches.

I think we should go to school but if we are not feeling well then don’t go to school because we don’t want to pass a cold
If I would be able to change the laws I would say:
-No more deforestation anywhere in the UK.
-More electric cars.
-No sea or land pollution.
-All jobs get paid more due to inflation.

I agree with that because we should be ready for school.
I suggest we should lower the prices of things that we could use to live. E.G food and water, clothes and heating.
If 3 White were in charge they would:
-reduce the price of food making it more affordable for all
-make more affordable housing to reduce homelessness
-increase taxes for the wealthy and decrease for the poor
-invest in alternative energy so we don’t have to rely on oil
-more electric cars
-more public recycling centres
These Are The Laws/Rules I Would Make If I Was A Chancellor:
– Lower The Prices Of Petrol As It Has Gone Up
– Give The Poor And Homeless People Three Meals A Day For Free
– Only Let People Have 1 Bottle Of Achoholic Drinks A Week To Prevent People From Getting Drunk
