What a fantastic experience! Y6 had the opportunity to try a new sport today, through skateboarding! We learnt about the different parts of the board and focused on our riding technique!
Once we were comfortable jumping on and off, with both feet, we were able to to begin riding!

My favourite part was riding the skateboard.
The skill I learnt was balance.

I had never learnt how to skateboard and I was really scared at first but Griff helped me overcome skateboarding. I wasn’t that great but at least I made an effort. Thank you Griff for taking your time to visit and help us skateboard.
I really enjoyed today as a learnt how to skate.Although I didn’t gain as fast as other children I still tried.
My favourite part of the experience was riding the skateboards as I had never ridden one before. Everything we learnt today was a new skill to me .
