SPaG: Adverbs

For our SPaG lesson, we learnt how to use adverbs.

Do you know what an adverb is?

An adverb describes a verb. It is a describing word that can describe a verb or adjective.

Some adverbs have ‘lay’ but not all end in ‘ly’.
For example, ‘The girl ran quickly’.

‘The boy laughed loudly’.
The adverbs are quickly and loudly.

    I use my brain wisely.
