We have had another busy week where the children have learnt lots and gained. We have continued with our topic of Living and Growing’ and this week our focus has been spiders. Please take a look at our fantastic learning and leave a comment to explain your favourite part of the week and why.😊
PSED – To understand the importance of taking care of our world and Understanding the World- To explore the natural world around them and go in a minibeast hunt!
Communication & Language – To discuss spiders and their habitats. The children spoke in full sentences and used vocabulary relating to insects and minibeasts .
Maths – To begin to understand numbers beyond 10.
Expressive Art & Design – To develop fine motor skills. Children created spider webs using a range of materials.
Literacy – To write sentences about spiders.
SMSC – To listen to a Muslim story about God’s creation.
On Friday afternoon we had ’Stay and Play’. It was lovely to see so many parents come in. 😊
