On Thursday, Year 2 will be walking to Coventry town centre as part of their History work. We will be looking at famous landmarks, buildings and visiting 2 museums (Transport and Herbert Art). This will all be done in school hours, so all children need to have their coats and come to school as normal (Please check the weather forcast). PE kts can be worn as long as they have their BH jumper please.
In addition to this, please could you send a plastic bag into school for the children to put their lunch in. This is because they are stronger than the paper bags that can get ripped easily on the way. A bottle of water tht could be thrown away would also be great.
If there are any parents that would like to help out and join us on the day, please can you speak to your child’s class teacher. We have a limited number of spaces, so be quick.
