1.Which number is the odd one out explain why?
15, 6, 3, 17
2.Which number is the odd one out and why?
24,36, 12, 10
Silver
- The large intestine is 150 cm long and the small intestine is 700 cm long. How long is the whole intestine? What is the difference between the length of the two intestines? Explain how you solved these.
- There are 206 bones in an adult skeleton. How many bones are there in two skeletons? How do you know?

Look at these calculations.
372-91=
627+54=
Create your own word problem for these calculations.
Bronze
1) 15 because 15 is the odd One out
2) 10 because 10 is the odd one out
and 10 is in the 10 Times tables
Silver
700+150=850 so itβs 850cm long
700-150=550 so the difference is
550cm
Because I started with the longest
to the shortest
Gold
1) It can equal 23 because have 7 trpods and 1 hipod so it equal 23
Platinum
1) 372-91=281
2)627+54=68
Create your own number
234-11=223. 129+120=229
768-10=758. 123+121=244
Bronze:
1) 17 is the odd one out because 3, 6 and 15 are apart of the 3 times table.
2) 10 is the odd one out because it is not in the 3 times table and 12, 24, 36 all are.
Silver:
The whole intestine is 850cm long because 700cm + 150cm = 850cm and the difference is 550cm because 700cm – 150cm = 550cm.
Well done DJ and Jatifor completing the maths challenge.
6 because all of the other ones are odd.
10 because it is a odd one and a even like the other ones
Silver
850 I know because 700 + 150 = 850
412 because 200+200 = 400 and 6+6= 12
Gold
G
First one is 10 bipods and 1 tripods because 2 times 10 = 20 and 1 times 3 = 23
2 finally 3 times 7 = 21 and + 2 = 23
1.It is 17 because it is not in the three timetables
2.It is 12 because it is not in the twelve timetables.
Silver
1.150+700=850
2.There are 412 bones in 2 skeletons
Gold
1.There are 4 Bipods and 5 Tripods, 4×2=8 and 5×3=15 so 8+15=23
2.There are 7 Bipods and 3 Tripods, 7×2=14 and 3×3=9 so 14+9=23
Platinum
372-91=281
627+54=681
Bronze:
1) 15, 6, 3, 17 The odd one is 17 because if you count in 3s you end up with 18 not 17.
2) 24,36, 12, 10 The odd one is 10 because it’s not included in the 3 times table.
Silver:
1) The intestine all together is 850. The difference is
150-700=550. I know this because you have to add first then you will no the difference because you just have to take away 150 from 700.
2) If there were 2 adult skeletons there would be 412 bones in total. I know this because 206+206=412 so 2 adult skeletons would have 412 bones in total.
Gold:
1) There could be 5 Tripods and 4 Bipods. There could be 7 Bipods and 3 Tripods.
Platinum:
372-91=281
627+54=681
My word problem.
If 372-91=281 would 91-372=281? π€

Super work Hadiya βοΈ

I have done my working out in my home work book.

The odd numbers are 27 and 10 because they are not in the 2 times table.
Silver
The length of the whole intestine is 850 cm I got this because I added
700 cm
+150 cm
= 850cm
Which gave me the answer 850 cm
700cm
– 150cm
= 650cm that is the difference between the 2 intestines.

The odd number out is 17 as its not in the 3 Times table.
The odd number out is 10 because 10 isn’t in the 10 Times table.
Sliver
150 + 700 =850
700 – 150 =550 difference
My English homework is in my homework book
Also 206 +206 =412
Well done Kitan βοΈ
The odd number is 17 beacuse in the 3 x table the next number after 15 would be 18.
The odd number is 10 because in the 3 x table that number should be 9
150+700=850
700-150=550
To work out the diffecnce in legnth between the two intestines I took away 150 from 700 and the answer to work out the difference in length was 550
206+206=412
To get this number I added one adult skeleton to another.
Tripods – 3
Bipods – 7
Tripods – 5
Bipods – 4
1. The odd one out is 17 because 17 is not in the three times tables.
2. It is 10 because 10 is not a multiple of three .
Silver
The answer is 850cm I know this because 150+700=850 and then I add the centermeters and I got 850cm I did it with formal written method .
The next answer is 412 because 206 +206=412 .
Silver
I added the large intestine and the small intestine together to get the total 700 + 150 = 850cm
To get the difference between the 2 intestines, I took the shortest away from the longest
700 – 150 = 550cm
1 skeleton has 206 bones so 2 skeletons will have 412 bones because 206 + 206 = 412
BRONZE
17 is the odd one out because if you count the 3 times table 17 is never there
2 10 is the odd one out because instead of 10 there is a 9 but never 10 in the three times table.
SilverThe large instine is 150+700 =850
The difference is if you put 700-150 =850 also
2A human body has 206 bones if there were two bodies in one that would =412 I now this because 206 +206 would equal 412
Gold
There are 3 bidpods and also 4
Tripods 3Γ4=12 there are now 2Γ3=6

The odd number is 10 because it is not in the 3 times table.
Silver
150+700=850
700-150=550
I added 150 and 700 to get the answer and then for the second one I did minus it to get the answer.
206+206=412
I added them together to get the answer.
Gold
One of the calculations you could have is 12+11=23 or 14+9=23
Well done Eva βοΈ

I have even done it in my homework book.
I have done the maths challenge in my home work book
17 because 17 is not in the 3 time table
10 beause 10 is not in the 3 time table
Good effort Alya βοΈ Why donβt you give Silver a try?
1. The odd one out is 17 because itβs not in the 3 time table.
2. 10 is the odd one out because the rest are in the 12 times table.
3. The whole intestine is 850cm long. The small intestine is 550cm longer than the long intestine.
4. A human body has 206 bones 2 human bodies are 412 bones I know this because 206+206=412
5. To make 23 you can have 10 bipod and 1 tripods.

10 is the odd number out because it is not in the 12 times table with 12 , 24 and 36.
Silver
150 + 700 = 850.
150 – 700 = 550 I know this because 100 – 700 = 600 so 50 – 600 = 550. 206 + 206 = 412 I know this because 200 + 200 = 400 ,
6 + 6 = 12 so 400 + 12 = 412.
Gold
There are 4 Tripods and there are 3 Bipods. 4 x 3 = 12 and 2 x 3 = 6

Tommy had 372 sweets then Oliver took 91 sweets away how many did Tommy have left?
372 – 91 = 281 Tommy has 281 sweets left.
Jenny had 627 apples in her farm , one of friend came and gave her 54 apples.
627 + 54 = 681 so now Jenny had 681 apples all together now.
