On Tuesday 3rd of October, a group of children from Year 3 and 4 took part in a set of football fixtures against 4 different teams, All Saints, All Souls and Pear Hyde. The girls had been working very hard practicing at lunchtimes and were excited to show what they could do.

In the first fixture, the girls dominated possession, but didn’t manage to get the ball in the net, so the game ended 0-0. In the second fixture, the girls got there first victory winning, which was followed by another dominant but ultimately goalless display which also finished 0-0.

Well done to the girls who took part, and thank you to the families that turned up to support. There will be more fixtures in the coming months, so if you weren’t involved this time don’t worry, there is still time to earn a spot in future teams.
