On Tuesday 25th October a group of 14 children from year 5 and 6 went to represent Broad Heath after their success at winning the Coventry schools rugby tournament hosted last year. The event was split into 2 parts; the first being a rugby tournament and the second a series of workshops around metal health and recognising and managing emotions.

The first part of the day went really well. Te children had a really enjoyable time, and even thought it was not a ‘competition’ as such, one of the Broad Heath teams won all there games, scoring 21 tries and only conceding 1 in the process.

The second session student took part in the flourish sessions, where they took part in fun activities designed for students to identify and manage there emotions. The students were Agni five to all day, and thank you to ENGAGE for hosting the event and inviting us to attend.
