Hi Year 5,
Here is your homework for the weekend. Please choose two pieces and also complete your spellings as a handwriting task (Week 2 spellings).
Homework should be a celebration of your learning and should reflect your full effort and ability. Homework is also a brilliant opportunity to discover more and take time to produce a piece of work you are truly proud of. The best efforts could even be sent to Mrs Frankish when she calls for good work.
Homework MUST be completed and brought into school on WEDNESDAY at the latest. This includes your spellings.
Well done to those children and families who do this every week! You are ensuring your progress and learning.
Maths
To review prior learning of angles.
This link will take you to a worksheet that will help you to review learning from last half term. You don’t need to print the sheet; you can just draw the diagrams in your homework book if needed.
English
To create a crossword puzzle using some of your Summer 2 spelling words.
You can take the words from any week of your spelling card. You will need to use a ruler.
Make sure the clues are good quality definitions of your words.
Here is an example to help.
WOW!
