We have been learning to play the melody “Angelus ad Virginem” on the Glockenspiels. We will continue to rehearse this wonderful Medieval Melody.
O come, O come Emmanuel is another wonderful “Early” melody.
This is a performance of the world famous “King’s College Cambridge Choir”, singing in English. The BBC broadcast on Radio and also on BBC2 – live and recorded Christmas services each year. This has become a British Tradition.
This rendition/interpretation was literally posted yesterday for the first time. It made me cry. It feels like a film score. The orchestral lushness is overwhelming. The original Composers/Lyricists of this Ancient Hymn/Song would be surprised how is still inspires others to re-create new beautiful art.
